“There are few visuals in off-road racing as powerful as the Mint 400 Vehicle Parade,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “There’s nothing quite like the sight of Unlimited Trucks, UTVs, dirt bikes, vintage buggies, and everything else we’ve got all parading through the Las Vegas Strip at the same time to show off just what we’re bringing for Mint 400 week. We can’t thank Mayor Goodman and the city enough for not only their support of the Vehicle Parade each year, but also her willingness to serve as this year’s Grand Marshal, as we celebrate the sport of off-road racing and one of Las Vegas’ most historic events. We’ve got more great days of off-road racing ahead, but this is still the perfect way to kick it all off!”

The Vehicle Parade is just the first of many opportunities for off-road die-hards and casual race fans alike to get up close and personal with both the racers and vehicles competing in this year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400. Following the Vehicle Parade, PT’s Wings and Sports at The STRAT Hotel welcomed Mint 400 participants and aficionados to the official Mint 400 Kickoff Party, while others prepared to head to Oscar’s Steakhouse for the return of the Mint 400 Dinner of Champions later in the night.

The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt. but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.

This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from March 8-12 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at TheMint400.com, or follow the event on Facebook and Instagram.
