Buckshot Racing #Bugshot

The Buckshot Racing “Bugshot” featuring the new Vision X Curved Unite light bar.

The Buckshot Racing “Bugshot” is a tribute to the classic Herbie “The Love Bug” 1963 VW racing beetle. Just like in the hit movie, this car has a mind of its own with 700+ horsepower 6.2 Liter Supercharged V8 Small Block LT4 Corvette Engine and Albins Transaxle to put all that power to the ground. The Gibson exhaust gives the “Bugshot” a nice throaty rumble hinting at the 700+ horsepower. Well known for making ultra stylized yet extremely functional sand cars, builder Andrew Buck has distilled his 30+ year of off-road experience into this stunning multi-purpose off-road car build that can handle the dirt, sand, and the street. The all 4130 Chromoly tube chassis is wrapped in wide-body design featuring a VW center pan and vin # coupled with a custom windshield with power windows and wiper system making it completely street legal. For lights, Andrew put two duel Vision X Unite lights on the front and the brand new Vision X Unite curved light bar on the roof that beautifully matches the curves of the classic VW style body.

The interior features PCI Race Radio communications package including an integrated Bluetooth radio system from SSV works with Kicker speakers so you can rock out and still communicate with everyone on the car and other vehicles. Andrew Buck is known for his details such as the vintage air condition and heating system in this build giving you maximum comfort when your hot or cold even when you are off-roading in the middle desert. The suspension features KING 2.0 coil overs with 3.0 by-passes with 24 inches of travel front and back. This beautiful throwback style build is wrapped in custom gold OMF Beadlock wheels and TOYO mud country tires.
