California 300 Awards Ceremony Celebrates Inaugural Event Champions

The winners of the inaugural California 300 were celebrated in Barstow on Sunday morning, as the event’s official Awards Ceremony handed out hardware to the podium finishers in the first edition of the newest Martelli Brothers event. From the Unlimited Race-winning Grabowski Brothers Racing team to youth racers just getting started in the sport, competitors of all types and levels secured their trophies to wrap up a successful debut weekend for the race.

The inaugural California 300 trophies were custom-designed by Assault Industries, longtime makers of the trophies for the Mint 400 and UTV World Championship and one of the premier suppliers of UTV performance products and accessories in the industry. The trophies featured the inaugural event shield, with a larger version featuring checkered flags for the overall and class winners. For more information on Assault Industries, visit

“The California 300 Awards Ceremony was a terrific way to cap off the inaugural California 300 on a high note,” said California 300 CEO Matt Martelli. “The custom-built Assault Industries trophies were a hit as always, and it was super gratifying to see how much our racers appreciated the efforts to close out the event strong. We’ve been thrilled with everything about our first year in Barstow, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the California 300!”

The California 300 would like to congratulate all of its winners and finishers, and would like to thank all of the racers, partners, vendors, and fans who helped make the inaugural race what it was. The debut event started with the Clean-Dezert Desert Cleanup that removed more than 10 tons of trash from the Barstow desert, continued with the California 300 Off-Road Festival featuring dozens of prominent vendors on Thursday, and Unlimited, Limited, Short Course, and Youth races across two days of racing action on Friday and Saturday.
