Heat Wave Visual Returns as Official Sunglasses Provider of 2022 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400

The familiar style of Heat Wave Visual will be on hand once again at the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 in 2022, as event officials are pleased to announce that the brand will once again produce the Official Sunglasses of the Mint 400 for this year’s event. Heat Wave Visual’s popular display will be on hand once again at the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas on Thursday, March 10, before joining the race action in Primm on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12. Heat Wave’s custom Mint 400 sunglasses will be sold both on site and online via the Dirt Co. website.

2022 marks the eighth consecutive year that Heat Wave Visual and the Mint 400 will team up to produce custom sunglasses celebrating the Great American Off-Road Race. Featuring metal logo inlays and logos printed on the outer temple, bold custom packaging, and a complementary microfiber cloth and carrying case, Heat Wave Visual’s special edition Mint 400 sunglasses are not only a stylish way to protect your vision out in the desert, they’re also the ultimate collector’s item.

Heat Wave Visual® was founded by two individuals, Justin Hertel and Doug Karlson, who sought to bring something more to the table in the eyewear market. The brand sought to create an original, affordable and customizable sunglasses platform on a level never before offered.

The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.
