“The Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and “The Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool” Contest OFFICIAL RULES
DESCRIPTION: Unlimited Off-Road Racing, The Mint 400 and The California 300 regularly conduct various Contests, Promotions & Sweepstakes (collectively “Contests”) on their websites, https://offroadracer.com, www.themint400.com and www.thecaliforia300.com (“Websites”). All Contests, regardless of their timing, nature, scope or prizes shall be subject to and governed by these Official Rules. By participating in the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and “The Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool”, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Unlimited Off-Road Racing, The Mint 400 and The California 300 with offices at 2554 Pahvant St., Oceanside, CA 92054, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
ELIGIBILITY: All “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” contest entrants must be officially registered via (https://offroadracer.com/) as “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” entrants to be eligible for the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Contest”. All “The Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool” entrants must be officially registered via (https://offroadracer.com/) as “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” entrants AND be registered for the “The Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool” to be eligible for the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool Contest”. Racers may elect to enter the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” contest but NOT enter the “Side Pool” contest.
HOW TO ENTER: First, visit https://offroadracer.com/triplecrown/ and read the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” competition rules. Next, to enter The “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” go to https://offroadracer.com/ first, and select the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” event. Registration for The “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” is $500, and open to all classes. Complete the registration process. Once teams are officially registered for the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” they may then enter the “Side Pool Contest” by visiting https://events.com/r/en_US/registration/unlimited-off-road-racing-triple-crown-side-pool-878644
Entering the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool” contest is optional, however “Side Pool” prizes will only be awarded to those racers who participate in the “Side Pool” contest.
PROMOTION PERIOD: The “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool Contest” begins Monday, January 16th at 9am PST and ends Friday, February 2nd at midnight PST.
WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool” contest winners will be determined by the Unlimited Off-Road Racing staff at the conclusion of the 2023 California 300 off-road race, according to the official competition rules listed at https://offroadracer.com/triplecrown. All “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and “Side Pool” contest winners must provide a current W9 tax form in order to receive their payments and are responsible for all taxes.
PRIZES: The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” will each receive a portion of the Triple Crown class entry fees, paid by all participants in their class. Exact amount to be determined by the number of entries, multiplied by the $500 entry fee. For more information on the Triple Crown purse payout structure visit https://offroadracer.com/triplecrown. Additionally, The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool”, will each receive a portion of the Triple Crown Side Pool fee, paid by all Side Pool participants in their class. Exact amount to be determined by the number of entries, times the class Side Pool entry fee paid. For more information on the Triple Crown Side Pool purse payout structure visit https://offroadracer.com/triplecrown. The odds of winning the prizes will depend upon how many race teams participate in the Contests and what place the racer finishes. All payments will be made by check and mailed to winners within 30 days from the conclusion of the California 300 race, October 4th – 8th, 2023.
GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: By entering the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Side Pool Contest”, entrants release and hold harmless Unlimited Off-Road Racing, The Mint 400 Inc, The California 300, Mad Media LLC, their sponsors, affiliates and subsidiaries of such entities, their employees, agents and representatives from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the promotion or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death or property damage. Each prize winner shall be solely responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and the reporting consequences thereof, and for any other fees or costs associated with the applicable prize. All prizes are strictly promotional in nature. Any sale or commercial transference of prizes is expressly forbidden. This offer is void where prohibited.
GENERAL RELEASE: Acceptance of a prize constitutes winner’s permission for Unlimited Off-Road Racing, The Mint 400 Inc, and The California 300 to use winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation. Entrants agree that Unlimited Off-Road Racing, The Mint 400 Inc, and The California 300 shall not be responsible or liable for any losses, damages or injuries of any kind resulting from participation in the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and “Side Pool Contest” or any Contest-related activity, or from entrants’ acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (B) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
Unlimited Off-Road Racing, The Mint 400 Inc, and The California 300 reserve the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown” and “Side Pool Contest” or Website, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
