UTV World Championship presented by Polaris set for October 13th-17th

In just one short week, the seventh annual UTV World Championship presented by Polaris RZR is set to take over Lake Havasu City, Arizona with the best UTV racers on the planet battling it out for the title of UTV World Champion. Over 200 racers are pre-registered in youth, short course and desert classes, while 60+ vendors are set for the AZ West UTV Festival and 100+ participants ready to explore the RIGID Industries Poker Run.

“We are excited to be back in beautiful Lake Havasu to bring the best UTV racers in the world to battle it out to see who is the world champion. Come out and bring your family and friends to enjoy a fantastic few days of off-road racing in the stunning Sonoran Desert,” commented UTV World Championship CEO, Matt Martelli.

The four days of UTV festivities kick off Wednesday, October 13th with Rigid Industries Poker Run which starts and finishes out of Standard Wash just 5 miles south of town. Spots in the poker runs are still available. UTV owners can register directly at UTVworldchampionship.com.

The AZ West UTV Festival will take place Thursday, October 14th downtown Lake Havasu City on McCulloch Blvd beginning at 8am. The public is invited to come meet the racers as they parade their vehicles down the street flanked by the top UTV manufacturers and aftermarket brands displaying and retailing their newest products. Qualifying racing will be held beginning at noon in Standard Wash at the UTV World Championship Start/Finish. Racers will battle for start positions on a short 1-mile course!

Friday October 15th at 7am kicks off the first day of racing with the ferocious short course race followed by multiple classes of youth racing. That afternoon it’s the Rally Class race, the most stock of the UTV classes along with Sportsman and RS1.

Saturday October 16th at 7:30 am starts with the ultra compettive Desert N/A and Unlimited Race classes, the first race to tackle the full ultra technical 4 lap, 114.4 mile desert race course. That afternoon the racing will culminate with the stacked Desert Pro Turbo class, the fastest class in UTV racing.
