Brenthel Industries Makes History Winning The 2022 Mint 400

Kyle Jergensen racing a Brenthel Industries Unlimited Truck is enshrined in the Mint 400 history books winning the race overall. In a very tough and grueling event, Jergensen beat out the sport’s top drivers. In the end, the Gen 3 Brenthel Industries truck pushed hard to the finish line, completing the Mint 400 95.7-mile racecourse four times in 6 Hours, 43 Minutes, and 49 seconds.

Kyle has been on an incredible roll with Brenthel Industries expert race preparations and support as of recent. The Mint 400 victory comes off the heels of winning the King Of The Hammers Desert Challenge. Jergensen is also the reigning Best In The Desert Trick Truck Champion.

These successes are mirrored by the incredible talent level currently involved with off-road desert racing. There is no shortage of driver ability, and the modern machines are more powerful, extremely durable, and superbly more reliable than ever before. Kyle qualified sixth in the lead-up to race day. Having to deal with the likes of Justin Lofton, Ryan Arciero, Rob MacCachren, and a slew of fast wheelmen all racing ahead, Jergensen ran a contentious pace. Kyle’s first three laps were all within just minutes of each other, the third being the fastest of his race. Jergensen took the lead on the final lap and managed beat out Tim Herbst at the finish by more than three minutes.

At the podium stage back in Primm, Jergensen made these comments during his victory interview; “This win means a lot for my team and me. The Brenthel team works so hard, and it’s another big team win for them. The race has to come to you, and it did.”

Jergensen continued, “Shawn Shanks, my Co-Driver did a great job like he always does. We are clicking very well in the truck. We ran a smart race and the truck handled everything. This Brenthel Gen 3 truck is so strong and we just beat on it all day. It never missed a beat! Another big win for Brenthel Industries prep department!
