Keegan Kincaid Back on the Box With Runner-Up Finish at ERX

Professional off-road racer Keegan Kincaid scored his second podium of the 2023 Championship Off-Road campaign on Saturday, coming home second at ERX Motor Park in the #4 Lucas Oil/Cooper Tire/Vision Wheel Pro 2. It’s the second top-three finish in the last three times Kincaid has hit the track, following his popular hometown win in last month’s Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run at Crandon International Raceway.

After Kincaid and his team built an all-new truck for the 2023 campaign, the former Pro 2 champion has shown the ability to set the pace or make passes at will on multiple occasions this season. Positioned within the top five for most of Saturday’s race, he was able to do just that once again after the competition caution. After the green flag fell for the restart, the Wisconsin native charged through the field, quickly clawing his way up into podium position.

Using ERX’s unique split lanes to make the pass for second on the final lap, Kincaid set his sights on the leader, providing one of the strongest challenges of the race in the last few corners. When all was said and done, he would come within .764 seconds of his second win over the past two events, a clear statement of the #4 team’s capabilities as the season rolls on.

“This weekend at ERX was a blast!” said Kincaid. “It’s one of the most fun tracks on the schedule, the fans are always awesome, and as a team, we’re really hitting our stride. We’re still looking for that first double podium of the year, which I know we’re capable of, but with all the speed we’ve shown the past couple events, it’s coming. Thanks to the whole team, all of our partners, and the fans for supporting us—I can’t wait to get back out there!”
