The 2024 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 makes its triumphant return to Las Vegas this week, with events taking place from Wednesday, March 6 to Sunday, March 10. Following multiple days of festivities in downtown Las Vegas, from Wednesday’s Mint 400 Vehicle Parade on the Las Vegas Strip to Thursday’s Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street East, this year’s Great American Off-Road Race will be held on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 in nearby Primm. This year’s event will feature a star-studded entry list of more than 400 entries, from off-road legends and past Mint 400 winners like Rob MacCachren and Justin Lofton to The Fighter and The Kid host Brendan Schaub and UFC Hall of Famer Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

The inaugural Mint 400 Desert Rally was held in Las Vegas in 1968 to promote the Mint Hotel and Las Vegas Gun Club. Over its rich and storied history, icons of film, television, and music have joined the world’s best desert racers to take on the biggest and most important off-road race in the world. More than 65,000 spectators come to Las Vegas for Mint 400 race week, enjoying multiple days of pre-race festivities downtown before watching hundreds of racers do battle on the most challenging course in the sport.

The Mint 400 offers these fans safe, exciting, and family-friendly ways to get up close to the action. Many of the pre-race events are free, while tickets to the start-finish midway in Primm start at just $30 and parking passes to watch the race from the Jean spectator areas are $40 per day. In addition, access to the VIP Hospitality Area in Primm features exclusive access, from specialty meals and private restrooms to TV screens broadcasting the action.

The 2024 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 festivities officially kick off on Wednesday at 4PM, when the Mint 400 Vehicle Parade sends hundreds of off-road cars, trucks, motorcycles, and UTVs down the Las Vegas Strip, led by 2024 Mint 400 Grand Marshal and Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Famer Ivan Stewart. The parade will end at Fremont Street East, where the official Mint 400 Kick-Off Party will be free and open to the public at Atomic Liquors starting at 5PM ET. For those looking for a VIP experience, the Mint 400 Dinner of Champions will return to Oscar’s Steakhouse beginning at 7PM, featuring a curated multi-course dining experience with some of the biggest names in the sport.

On Thursday, the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival will take over Fremont Street East from 9AM to 6PM, with a full day of events that are free and open to the public. Hundreds of the top vendors in the sport will be present, while all 400+ entries will parade through the festival on the way to tech inspection and contingency. The 10th Annual Rugged Radios Driver Meet & Greet returns from 11AM-2PM with three hours of autograph signings from the biggest names in the sport, while Stewart will be among those signing at the Magnaflow/Camburg booth from 10:30AM-12PM. In addition, a full line of brand new Mint 400 merchandise will be available at the event.

From there, the action moves to Primm for two days of racing, featuring the triumphant return of the official Mint 400 Primm Valley Resorts Start Finish line behind the recently remodeled Buffalo Bill’s Hotel and Casino. The Mint 400 midway will open at 6AM each day, while Buffalo Bill’s will be hosting after parties nightly at the World Famous Tree Bar at 7:30PM.

On Friday, the Pre-Runner class hits the course first at 7AM, before the O’Reilly Auto Parts Limited Race goes green at 8AM with hundreds of vehicles ranging from professional UTV racers to sportsman trucks, Class 11s, and even vintage and military vehicles. Following the start of the Limited Race, two classes of Youth racing will begin at 10:30AM.

As the O’Reilly Auto Parts Limited Race heads towards its conclusion, Mint 400 Unlimited Race Qualifying will send the top vehicles out in front of the fans beginning at 1:30PM. Nearly 40 Unlimited Truck SPEC entries will qualify together in the first group, while the second group of Unlimited Trucks and Class 1 vehicles will run together starting at 2:45PM.

Saturday’s race action kicks off with the return of the Mint 400 Motorcycle Race at 7AM, followed by two more Youth classes beginning at 8AM. From there, the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 Unlimited Race takes center stage, with the 5th Annual Mint 400 Grid Walk beginning at 9:45AM and the top qualifier hitting the course at 10:45AM. After the winners have been crowned, the night wraps up at 8PM with a concert from psychedelic rock trio King Buffalo.

Finally, the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 live stream returns with two full days of coverage at themint400.com/live and across Mint 400, BFGoodrich Tires, and selected partner social media platforms. Live streaming will kick off at 7:30AM PT on Friday and 10:00AM PT on Saturday. This year’s Mint 400 live stream will feature the return of Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli, Supercross champion Ricky Johnson, motorsport radio star Jim Beaver, Ultra 4 racer and European Off-Road superstar Jim Marsden, off-road cultural icon Bob Bower, and field reporter Tiffany Stone. Along with the live stream, Mint 400 live page will also feature live timing and tracking throughout both days of racing.
