LEGACY Racing announces 2022 racing calendar

Legacy Racing has a dedication for this sport. We enjoy promoting events that help create memories for teams and families as they compete in long distance off-road racing. Hearing the enthusiasm in the volunteers’ voices rejuvenates the thrill of off-road desert racing. There is something about being in the desert from sunrise to sunset that is beautiful and mesmerizing that is hard to explain unless you’ve experienced it for yourself. The stories that are shared during and after the events is what fuels our passion for the sport. To those who have joined us in our inaugural season, Thank You! Your support means so much to us.

We have listened to the racers, brand partners, volunteers, and fans and are very excited to announce we will be adding more events for our 2022 race series. To start off the year we are returning to Pahrump for the 4WP Desert Showdown. Following the Desert Showdown we will head back to Laughlin for the Legendary Metroprint Nevada Hare Scrambles. With overwhelming demand our Baja Nevada event will be the third event on the schedule and comes with a plot twist. With over 650 miles, this years’ format will be a single day event, winding through the heart of Nevada. Primm has made its way onto the official schedule as the Stateline Shootout. With more time to prepare, the course will be filled with extra challenging terrain and two days of racing for double the excitement. Although the Dirt Rebelution hasn’t happened yet, we are confident it belongs on the 2022 schedule. We anticipate this race to be an event everyone looks forward to annually. The VT Construction Battleground is making a return but in its original home. We are thrilled to announce it is going back to Jean as it was originally scheduled for 2021. This will be a loop race with approximately 250 miles. With all this excitement it’s hard to imagine that there’s more events to be announced.

New to our 2022 schedule is an event that goes back to the late 1800s where prospectors raced from mining claim to mining claim. However this time the race won’t be on horse and buggy. Instead, 800 horsepower fire breathing off-road race vehicles will conquer the 300 mile Virginia City to Tonopah Gold Rush event. This race is sure to be a hidden treasure while teams challenge themselves for the gold.
