SAN FELIPE, BAJA CALIFORNIA, MEXICO – Alan Ampudia and Toyo Tires® claimed the overall win at the 38th SCORE San Felipe 250, securing back-to-back victories in consecutive years to kick off the SCORE season. Ampudia continues his momentum from last year, having won the 2024 SCORE World Trophy Truck Championship. This win puts him at the top of this year’s championship standings, capping off an incredible weekend for Team Toyo.

Additionally, Gustavo Vildósola Sr. took first in the SCORE Trophy Truck Legends class, recording his third consecutive win at the SCORE San Felipe 250 and extending his race win streak to 13 consecutive victories.
The 250-mile racecourse started and finished in El Malecon along the shoreline of the Sea of Cortez. Ampudia and his #10 Monster Energy/Toyo Tires AWD Mason Motorsports Ford Raptor showcased a determined drive on race day, after starting fourth on the grid following Thursday’s qualifying. With a relentless day behind the wheel in defense of his title, Ampudia clocked in a winning time of 3 hours 55 minutes and 13 seconds, relying on the championship-winning Toyo Open Country® M/T-R tires.

After being named Grand Marshal for all race week festivities, Gustavo Vildósola Sr. and his team looked poised to continue their unbeaten streak at this year’s race. With co-driver Ricky Johnson and their #1L Mason Motorsports / Toyo Tires / Vildosola Racing / Ford Raptor, the team completed the race with a winning time of 4 hours 10 minutes and 54 seconds, marking the second overall class victory for Team Toyo over the weekend.

“It’s an incredible start to the season after an insane day of racing on course and battling for every position,” said Alan Ampudia. “We drove the truck extremely hard, and thanks to our durable Toyo tires, they lived up to the demands of the desert and allowed us to secure that first win of the season.”

“What an honor to be the Grand Marshal for the race this week and get the opportunity to win,” said Gustavo Vildósola Sr. “It was a challenging race, but we had a great run and it doesn’t get much better.”
