Professional off-road racer Gray Leadbetter is ready to wrap up her rookie Pro Lite season in Championship Off-Road on a high note this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway. Leadbetter and the #28 On Track School/Yokohama/Pepper Palace/Ryan Beat Motorsports Chevrolet wrap up the campaign with two more rounds of points racing on Friday and Saturday night, with a top five finish in the final standings on the line.

Leadbetter is certainly no stranger to Glen Helen, having run multiple races at the track in Nitrocross. In the 2023-24 season, she took a podium and two top-fives in the two Glen Helen rounds for the SXS class, with her third place finish coming after she used strong Joker Lap strategy to work her way around action sports legend Brian Deegan.

After just one points round at the Crandon World Championships on Labor Day weekend, Leadbetter remains fifth in the standings, best among any drivers in their first full Pro Lite season. Thanks to strong speed in the second half of the season, including her first podium at Bark River, she can also set her sights on climbing as high as fourth, a position she sits just five points behind.

“I’m looking forward to racing in Glen Helen!” said Leadbetter. “I raced out here for Nitrocross in 2023 and it was a blast, the fans were incredible I’m so looking forward to being back and getting short course to the west coast again. The track has some differences to it with the rhythm section, which is a first for most, so it’s definitely going to be a show!”
