Professional off-road racer Gray Leadbetter is poised to take the next step in her racing career, returning to Championship Off-Road for the 2025 season in the Pro Lite class. After a top-10 championship finish in the deeply competitive Pro SXS class last year while running her own team, Leadbetter returns to truck racing with the support of Ryan Beat Motorsports in the next step up the COR ladder.

Reuniting with RBM for support in 2025 brings Leadbetter back to where she made Championship Off-Road history. In 2022, Leadbetter became the first woman to win a Pro class title in series history when she took the Pro Spec championship with the team. She carried that momentum into 2023, extending her podium streak in every Pro Spec race for a full calendar year on the way to third in points in her title defense.

For 2024, Leadbetter returned to Pro SXS for the first time in three years, leading Gray Leadbetter Racing as the youngest owner-driver in the series and finishing 10th in points while also balancing racing commitments in Extreme E (with Legacy Motor Club) and Nitrocross and frequent appearances on Travis Pastrana’s Channel 199. In the offseason, she drove a spec Trophy Truck for the first time with the support of Yokohama for a Channel 199 clip, appeared at the Tulsa Shootout on behalf of On Track School, and prepared for her return to trucks with multiple days of testing.

“I’m really excited to move up to Pro Lite for the 2025 Championship Off-Road season,” said Leadbetter. “I’m thrilled to be back with Ryan Beat and RBM this year after having some of my best results with the team in Pro Spec. I learned a lot about the value of having the support of a top team last season, and I’m excited for us to pick up where we left off this year in Pro Lite.”

Along with a host of her longtime partners, Leadbetter welcomes Pepper Palace as a partner for the first time in the 2025 season. Over the past 25 years, Pepper Palace has grown from a single storefront on the outskirts of Gatlinburg, TN to over 100 locations across North America, each offering dozens of flavors of hot sauce, BBQ sauce, salsa, dry rubs, seasoning, and more. Visit pepperpalace.com to browse flavors and recipes and buy your favorites online.

Leadbetter’s first race in the Pro Lite class will be the Show-Me Off-Road Shootout at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO on May 2-4. The new season opener will see the track host a national championship for the first time in half a decade. Tickets remain available here, while live streaming will be available all weekend long via FloRacing. For more information on the full 2025 Championship Off-Road season, click here.
