Gray Leadbetter Ready for Antigo Off-Road National
Professional off-road racer Gray Leadbetter’s first season in Championship Off-Road’s Pro Lite division continues this weekend at Antigo Lions Roaring Raceway. Leadbetter, Ryan Beat Motorsports, and the #28 On Track School/Yokohama/Pepper Palace Pro Lite will look to build on a solid opening round at Lucas Oil Speedway last month that saw her score a top-five finish in her class debut.
In years past, Antigo has been one of Leadbetter’s strongest tracks behind the wheel of a truck. She won the opening round of the inaugural Pro SPEC season here in 2022, and finished second in the second race, on the way to becoming COR’s first female Pro champion. In 2023, she backed those results up with the top qualifying time and two runner-up finishes that saw her charge through the field after starting sixth and fourth due to inverts.

Those are good omens as the North Carolina native shifts her full focus to Pro Lite this weekend, after pulling double duty in Pro SXS for Kyle Chaney in the opener in Missouri. Leadbetter’s return to truck racing saw her score a fourth place finish in the opening round, a feat made more impressive because her two classes ran back-to-back all weekend. The schedule gave her minimal time to debrief or focus on shifting from one driving style to the other, a challenge she won’t need to face again in Antigo.
“I’m really excited to get back to Antigo in a truck this weekend,” said Leadbetter. “Wheatland was an awesome opening event, and getting to run double duty gave me a new appreciation for all of the other drivers who do it every weekend, but it’s going to help me a ton to be able to focus on the Pro Lite from here on. I’ve had some good results here before, and I’m hoping that means we can get on the box for the first time this season this weekend!”

Gray Leadbetter’s weekend at Antigo Lions Roaring Raceway kicks off on Friday with practice at 3PM and qualifying at 6:10PM. Pro Lite races will take place on Saturday at 5:15PM and Sunday at 3:15PM. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or at Southside Tire in Antigo, while live streaming will be available all weekend long via FloRacing. A broadcast encore can be seen on June 29 at 9:30AM ET/6:30AM PT on Fox Sports 2.
