Don’t miss professional off-road champion Gray Leadbetter in her return to desert racing this weekend at the Mint 400, as she debuts in the Chevrolet Silverado EV ZR2 for Chevrolet Performance and Hall Racing. Leadbetter’s first round of the 2026 American Off-Road Championship will see her take part in Friday’s Mint 400 Limited Race for the first time.

“I’m so excited to start my season off at the Mint 400 with Chevrolet Performance and Hall Racing,” said Leadbetter. “We had a great testing program to get ready to the race, and I’ve really enjoyed working with the team so far. I’m looking forward to race day and trying to start off the season with a win!”

The 2026 Mint 400 is the culmination of months of preparation for Leadbetter and the Hall Racing team. After a multi-day testing program in February, the #EV230 truck is dialed and ready to take on the Great American Off-Road Race. Leadbetter will compete in the EV Open Production class, where she’ll look to defend Hall Racing’s win from last year.

Race week for Leadbetter kicks off on Thursday at the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival, which brings the more than 500 competing race teams and over 100 vendors to downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street East. Attendance is free and fans are encouraged to meet racers and take pictures of the vehicles as they parade through the festival on their way to tech and contingency. The Mint 400 Off-Road Festival opens at 8AM PT and runs until 6PM.

From there, Leadbetter will head to Primm to take on two laps of the full 95-mile course on Friday. The green flag on the Limited Race itself will fly at 8AM PT, with live streaming, timing, and tracking available all race long at themint400.com/live.
