Introducing iRacing Advanced Pro 2 Lite
For the first time in 2025 Season 3, iRacing will take its highly popular Pro 2 Lite truck to all of America’s top off-road courses with the all-new Advanced Pro 2 Lite Off-Road Racing Series. Set one step about the Rookie Pro 2 Lite Off-Road Racing Series, the division will give off-road sim racers the chance to hit an expanded set of tracks and further refine their skills as they work their way up to the full-power Pro 2 and Pro 4 trucks.

The iRacing Pro 2 Lite is the first short course truck on iRacing’s Dirt Road ladder and is included with every iRacing subscription. It is currently the most popular off-road vehicle on iRacing, with well over 10,000 racers running the Rookie series every season. Rookie Pro 2 Lite racers learn their skills primarily at Wild West Motorsports Park, a longtime host of real-world racing that is also part of the iRacing base package. After just a handful of races or time trials to show their competency in turning clean laps, racers earn their D class license, allowing them to race a broader set of series.

Advanced Pro 2 Lite will join Pro 4 at the D license class for 2025 Season 3, which runs from June to September. Races will take place at the top of every hour and will take inspiration from the real-world calendar, including visits to Crandon International Raceway and Bark River International Raceway on or around the same weeks those tracks will host national championship events. Wild West, Crandon’s short layout, and Firebird Motorsports Park will complete the schedule.
