Off-Road Racer Podcast Episode 75: Allen Racing Co.
Allen Racing Co. — Brotherhood, Burnt Shocks,
and a Passion for the Long Game
Brice and Justin Allen aren’t here to talk big—they’d rather let their finish rate, family support crew, and battle-tested Polaris Pro R do the talking. What started as a shared love for speed and fabrication has evolved into a full-on race program, one that’s been steadily climbing the ranks in both District 38 and the Unlimited Off-Road Racing series.
In the latest episode of the Off-Road Racer Podcast, we sat down with the Allen Brothers to talk about what makes their team tick—from wrenching in the garage with family to battling through fire at the Mint 400.

From Garage to Grid
The Allens didn’t roll into off-road racing with a big rig and a million-dollar budget. They built their first car, dialed in their own prep, and committed to learning by doing. That foundation—built on late nights in the garage and trial-by-fire finishes—gave them their first big win at Parker and has kept them in the fight ever since.
It’s not just race day either. Their garage doubles as a family hangout: girlfriends labeling bags, dogs underfoot, and parts getting laid out and cleaned by hand. It’s a full-spectrum operation with the whole family involved—from the pits to the passenger seat.

Running Lean and Finishing Clean
If there’s one thing the Allen Bros are known for, it’s finishing races. While others push too hard or chase unneeded complexity, the Allens stick to what works—bone-stock reliability, smart prep, and pushing just enough when it counts.
That mindset was tested at this year’s Mint 400 when the car caught fire after they blew out four rear shocks. With no comms and no chance at a podium, they made the call to cruise it in. They connected their Starlink, played some music, and made the most of it—rolling to the finish line and picking up another hard-earned result.

Built to Go the Distance
The Allen Bros don’t claim to have it all figured out—but they do know what works for them. They’re focused on consistency, community, and building a program that lasts. Whether it’s grinding for a championship or just showing up to a local District 38 race for fun, they’re all in—every time.
From helping other teams out of their own trailer to fine-tuning their Pro R for the next big push, Allen Racing Co. represents what off-road racing is all about: family, reliability, and that relentless drive to keep moving forward.
