Opening of Daily Press Accreditations

Rally director David Castera revealed the specifics of the 47th edition of the Dakar, which will take the amateurs and champions of planet rally raid to Saudi Arabia for the sixth time in a row. A prologue and 12 stages will be held between 3 and 17 January, including the 48 h chrono stage, a marathon stage and the climactic challenge in the Empty Quarter before the race draws to a close in Shubaytah.

"Daily" accreditation to follow the rally is now open!

How requested a daily accreditations ?
Requests for daily accreditations have to be made on-line at : here

/!\ Requests for daily accreditations must be made before December the 28th 2024.
Any request received after this date will not be treated.

All validated requests will be confirmed by e-mail. Please print it and present it when collecting your daily pass.

Daily accreditations are to be collected from the stage’s finish bivouac from 12:00 pm (rally local time) at the reception tent at the entrance of the bivouac, on presentation of the confirmation e-mail and an original specimen of your ID papers(photocopies will not be accepted).

Please note:

Start camp: administrative and technical scrutineering (January 1st and 2nd) and the podium count as 1 stage
Start camp: the prologue (January 3rd) count as 1 stage
1st stage (January 4th): Bisha – Bisha = 1st stage bracelet
Rest day (January 10th): rest day count as 1 stage = a rest day bracelet

To get an accreditation for more than 4 stages in total, please ask for entire rally accreditation. 

A daily accreditation grants access to: From January 3rd to January 17th 2025
The bivouacs (without catering)
The press information (at the media center only)

Transport between bivouacs are neither provided nor paid for by the organizers.

The vehicles won’t have access to the bivouac.

It is forbidden to use the race route.

The daily pass does not include internet fees.
