Parker 400 Downtown Experience Brings Biggest Names in Off-Road Together
The 2025 UNLTD Off-Road Racing Series season is in full swing with this weekend’s Parker 400, the first of four rounds in this year’s championship. But before hundreds of racers of all ages go for the hardware across multiple races on Friday and Saturday, Thursday saw them join the sport’s biggest brands in downtown Parker, Arizona for the return of the Parker 400 Downtown Experience.
“Thanks to everyone who came out and joined us downtown for the Parker 400 Downtown Experience!” said UNLTD CEO Matt Martelli. “The entire Parker community is amazing in its support of this race, and it was awesome to bring our race vehicles and partners straight to the fans once again. We hope everyone who joined us downtown will come watch two epic days of racing on Friday and Saturday!”
The Parker 400 Downtown Experience is the last major pre-race event of the Parker 400 each year. As with other UNLTD events, racer tech and contingency is combined with a massive festival of exhibitors showing off the latest and greatest in off-road technology, selling merchandise, and giving fans the opportunity to meet racers and see their machines up close.
The top racers in the sport rolled into the Downtown Experience in the middle of the afternoon after finishing their qualifying runs, where Nic Whetstone took the top spot for Saturday’s Unlimited Race and Brody Aikins paced the field competing in Friday’s Limited Race. As the racers made their way through, fans picked up their official Parker 400 merchandise, collected free race posters, and saw displays from UNLTD and Parker 400 sponsors like Vision Wheel, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Rugged Radios, and more.
With qualifying and the Downtown Experience in the books, it’s time for the racing itself to get started. Action kicks off bright and early on Friday with the start of the Parker 400 Motorcycle Race at 7:30AM, while the Limited Race for Class 10s, UTVs, and other car and truck classes will go green at 1PM. While the motorcycles will be making their return to Parker this year, the Limited Race will see defending champion Larry Heidler look to make it two victories in a row. Fans can follow live timing and tracking all week long at theparker400.com/live.
The 2025 Parker 400 marks the first of four rounds on the 2025 UNLTD Off-Road Racing Series calendar. It will be followed by the legendary BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 in Las Vegas on March 5-9, the inaugural Reno 600 in Reno on April 16-19, and the season-ending California 300 in Barstow on October 1-5.

About UNLTD Off-Road Racing
The Unlimited Off-Road Racing league was formed by The Martelli Brothers in 2023 after more than a decade of successful desert off-road race promotion, including The Mint 400, The UTV World Championship and The California 300. The league was formed to promote the sport of desert off-road racing, the off-road industry, and to expand the reach of off-road companies beyond the industry and into the homes of every off-road race fan, globally. Key attributes of the newly formed league include large racer car counts, competitive and challenging race courses, safe and family-friendly spectating areas, multiple days of racing and off-road festivities all located near major cities and markets that positively affect the off-road industry. The Martelli Brothers, owners of the motorsports powerhouse production group Mad Media have made it their mission to grow the league into a four race series that showcases the best off-road racers on the best courses in North America.
