RallyX Americas is pleased to announce the four world-class race teams that will be part of its inaugural 2026 campaign in the Hypercar division. Hansen Motorsport, SET Promotion, JC Raceteknik, and Olsbergs MSE have agreed to collaborate with the intent of building the series into the world’s premier rallycross platform over the coming years.

Each team brings a world-class pedigree to the collaboration:

Hansen Motorsport: Founded in 1990 by Kenneth and Susann Hansen, Hansen Motorsport has claimed numerous world and European drivers’ and teams’ championships. Kenneth claimed 14 European championships as a driver before focusing on team management, while sons Timmy and Kevin have carried on the family legacy with wins and titles of their own across multiple disciplines.

“We are very happy to join RallyX Americas for 2026 and beyond. It is a big milestone for the sport of rallycross and will give the fans a great show. The teams, Set Promotion, JC Raceteknik, OMSE and Hansen together with the RallyX Management have worked hard together with the goal to make the sport as great as it deserves to be with a healthy and sustainable structure that we all believe in. This is the first time teams are so closely involved with a promoter and overall decisions for RallyX and how to grow the championship.

“Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen! It is great to work with people with so much passion and energy for rallycross. We are looking forward to getting the season started in June.” – Kenneth Hansen, Hansen Motorsport

SET Promotion: For more than 20 years, Jussi and Kalle Pinomäki’s SET Promotion team has competed at every level of rallycross and stage rally around the world. From developing young racers in both real-world and sim racing to scoring wins and titles at the highest level, SET has created an ecosystem that allows drivers to refine their skills and become superstars.

“This is a huge moment for the potential of rallycross in North America and globally too, which I really believe in. This shows that despite how fierce we have been as competitors over the years, sometimes when it is necessary, we can sit down together, put our thoughts and experience on the table and be unified towards a brighter future. The Hypercar class will be the only electric rallycross championship in the world; there is still untapped potential in this concept. I share the long-term vision of the other members in this collaboration and I’m excited to see what the future brings.” – Jussi Pinomäki, SET Promotion

JC Raceteknik: The JC Raceteknik squad is a mainstay of RallyX’s European efforts with entries from the starter-level Crosscar up to the premier Open 4WD, and the team supports efforts in other disciplines like stage rally as well. Its collaboration with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in America in recent years has seen the team lead the way in competition with multiple wins and titles in the First Corner FC1.

“We’re looking forward to returning to North America through our involvement in RallyX Americas. We’ve had a significant amount of success with the First Corner FC1 in recent years, and we’re excited to align with many of the sport’s other top teams to create this unified vision. This is a car, series, and schedule that we truly believe in, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the sport continues to grow globally in the coming years." – Joel Christoffersson, JC Raceteknik

Olsbergs MSE: From its roots in Sweden to becoming one of the first teams in America devoted to rallycross, Olsbergs MSE has established itself at the forefront of innovation since its founding in 2005. From driving at the highest levels in Europe to developing the next generation of top drivers and rallycross cars, founder Andreas Eriksson has pushed the sport forward in countless ways and from all angles. Today, Kevin Eriksson is fronting the company's efforts in the sport.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be part of such a world-class group of teams to launch RallyX Americas in 2026. Our combined experience in rallycross around the world will allow us to forge an exciting new path forward that stabilizes and grows the sport globally, and our conversations so far have been very productive. We have a great platform of cars, tracks, and now teams all working together to put on a great show. We’re looking forward to an exciting season together and excited for everything to come.” – Kevin Eriksson, Olsbergs MSE

“We’re thrilled to announce the partner teams that will be working together in RallyX Americas’ Hypercar class,” said RallyX founder Andreas Eriksson. “The teams that have come together under this collaboration have defined the sport, both on track and off, for decades. Bringing this group together represents a major commitment from all parties to taking the sport of rallycross to the next level.”

“The collaboration between RallyX Americas and its partner teams is already yielding great results behind the scenes,” added RallyX strategic advisor Kirk Miller. “Their insights are helping us develop a strong foundation to build upon and a more sustainable rallycross ecosystem for all parties. We’re excited to bring the progress we’ve already made to fruition with an exciting debut season, and we can’t wait to get the season started.”

RallyX Americas’ electric Hypercar class will be joined by Supercar, Crosscar, and Open 2WD classes at each of its events. As the world’s only fossil-free rallycross championship, these three ICE-powered classes will utilize biofuel for added horsepower and excitement. Each division will be supported by world-renowned race teams and constructors.

The inaugural RallyX Americas season begins on June 20-21 at Crandon International Raceway in Wisconsin, followed by stops at Eldora Speedway in Ohio on June 27-28 and Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières in Quebec on August 22-23. Additional exhibition events will be held at Crandon on Labor Day weekend, and the inaugural RallyX Global Final will take place at Portugal’s Montalegre Circuit on October 24-25.
