In this episode of the Off-Road Racer Podcast, I sit down with 11x Baja 1000 Champion and Off-Road Hall of Fame Inductee Johnny Campbell. We discuss the upcoming Dakar Rally, one of the longest and most brutal off-road races on the planet. Johnny talks about his extensive history with the race and his current involvement in training some of the athletes including 2020 Dakar winner Ricky Brabec for the Honda Racing Team (HRC). We also talk about the current state of Desert Moto Racing in North America, the importance of, and our ongoing efforts to foster Moto in the Unlimited Off Road Racing series, among other topics.
